Green Heroes is a hybrid educational board game designed to raise awareness of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) among young learners. The game merges time-travel storytelling with real-world sustainability choices, guiding players through historical events toward a better 2030.
Identified the gap: Only 1 in 10 people in the UK are aware of the SDG framework. Mapped the need for accessible, engaging tools that promote climate action and critical thinking in early education.
Co-developed the core gameplay loop:
Integrated SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) to ensure curricular alignment. Planned school outreach in Manchester, targeting environmental science and social studies.
